Accounts Payable (A/P)

A QuickTrainer Bookkeeping Consultant will enter vendor bills, pay vendor bills, provide you with A/P reports to ensure the right bills are getting paid on time, but just in time. During this process, we are ensuring you are aware of any of your vendors “early pay” discounts. Taking advantage of early pay discounts can potentially save your company hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. We also look for discrepancies (e.g., billing errors, inventory errors, comparing PO’s to pick tickets, etc.). We find if one is not on top of these potential issues, it can equal money being tossed out of a window on a windy day.

Accounts Receivable (A/R)

Your Bookkeeping Consultant can handle your invoicing needs. This can entail anything from generating new invoices, generating progress invoices, receiving payments, making deposits, posting deposits and customer statements. We can run customer statements at month end to be mailed, giving your clients that extra push to keep their accounts up to date. Reviewing the aging report is important so we can bring any problem to the forefront and keep your cash flow positive.

Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations

An often overlooked and/or misunderstood part of bookkeeping by business owners is the need to reconcile both banking (checking, savings or investment) accounts as well as credit card accounts. Your Bookkeeping Consultant will ensure these account types are reconciled properly each month to the penny. Any issues encountered will be discussed with you (e.g., checks posted incorrectly, deposits not accounted for). When all is said and done, you can rest assured your accounts have been reconciled, a reconciliation report has been printed and attached to your bank statement(s).

Reporting

We will run an entire set of Financial Reports either at month end or Quarterly that will help guide you in growth. Income Statements (sometimes referred to as Profit and Loss) basically add up a list of revenues and subtracts your expenses throughout the period to give you an idea of how much profit or loss you have created. A Balance Sheet will give you a synopsis of your financial condition at the specific time you choose. This helps you decide if you are in a position to purchase equipment, expand, need to bolster cash reserves, identify and analyze trends, etc. We can run other specific reports you choose.

Test & Measure

At QuickTrainer, we believe strongly in testing and measuring and we know you should too. You need to understand where your clients are hearing about your business; is that advertising piece you are running producing a healthy ROI (Return on Investment)?; Are the Yellow Pages still a viable source for your advertising dollars? Your Bookkeeping Consultant will assist you in tracking this all important and valuable information.

Sales Tax

If your business collects sales tax from its customers, your Bookkeeping Consultant will see this tax is paid and the sales tax report filed on time, every time.

Payroll

Are you doing your own payroll in-house? Your QuickBooks Consultant will access your payroll to mutually determine if this makes sense. If so, we can generate your paychecks; file your payroll taxes; file your quarterly payroll reports. Come year-end, we can also produce your W-2’s and 1099’s.
